2 do this, u gotta travel to Yavin 4 and fly an X-wing. Flying a jet pack, or surfin' through the Mine is one thing. But flying an X-wing is a whole new challenge. Gotta focus! Keep your eye on the prize. Avoid laser blasts and take down TIE Fighters.

They'll be dropping like Stormtroopers before u know it! It's time to free Club Penguin and restore freedom 2 the galaxy. Remember, ur efforts will be rewarded. So, what are u waiting 4? Let's get the dark side outta here!

REBELS REWARDED

By a Space Reporter - Stormtroopers are clearing the dance floor and reports of intergalactic pizza eating contest are pouring in. Some brave heroes are already being rewarded with medals for their fight against the evil Empire. 

We caught up with one hero excited to share his account with us, "At one point, I wasn't sure I was going to make it. TIE fighters were coming at me from all sides!" he said. "I think I saw Darth Herbert in the Death Star ordering around some Stormtroopers." "Too bad for them we're about to send that evil Empire packin'!"

There you have it. It looks like we are one stop closer to restoring freedom to Club Penguin... AND the galaxy!

Message from Princess Cadence: Okay guys! Fly to the Death Star! Remember to keep it real cause you gotta find your way in, and don't get caught. This is gonna need some serious concentration. So, use the Force and stay FOCUSED!!

To steal the plans, you need a whole lotta stealthy moves. Watch out for Dearth Herbert--that guy's bad news! So, make sure ur puffles are well behaved! We can't have them burping up Puffle O's and giving away our location. This place is crawling with Stormtroopers and Imperial Officers! And u don't wanna get locked up in the detention cells. Not cool.

Navigate your way through this über scary space station for an EPIC WIN! Nab the secret plans, so we can analyze the data and find the Death Star's weakness. Once we know that--we can TOTES destroy the Death Star. The fate of the galaxy rests with you! Let's do this!

There's no laughing and having fun on the dark side, GUYS!! Say goodbye to pizza too, unless u can talk to Darth Herbert into sharing! And I don't think he's really into that.

Urgent message from Princess Cadence: This is our most desperate hour. Someone's gotta save our skins and u guys r the ones to do it! This evil Empire and Darth Herbert have gotta be stopped once and for all! LISTEN UP! Here's the plan... 

Head to the Millennium Falcon. It's a piece of junk, but the pilot knows what he's doing. From here, u gotta fly to Tatooine. You know you've made it if u've got sand in your shoes and are getting a sun tan. But don't build a sandcastle just yet! There's still a lot of work to do.

Expect to see Stormtroopers--and a WHOLE bunch of 'em. You'll know them from the white suits--there's no sense of style with that crew. U gotta defeat the Stormtroopers 2 save Tatooine. Lemme tell u, this is an EPIC task. I'll be working on getting us 2 the Death Star. Wish me luck! Princess Cadence--Out!

PREPARE FOR SPACE FLIGHT

Astronaut training not for the faint of heart

By JPG -- If you think you have what it takes for space flight--thank again. It requires by-the-book, no-nonsense focus. You gotta be tough. You gotta be bold. You gotta be willing to take risks. If you're scared of heights, you're going to need al ot of courage. So leave your scaredy-pants at the door.

Ready to dive in? Here are some tips to help:

• Practice jumping really high. If you think you've jumped high enough-- JUMP HIGHER! We're going to space!
• Conquer gravity. Get your friends to spin you round, as fast as they can!
• And there are three things you can't forget: fuel, food AND a green puffle. Don't forget 'em.

One more thing, ice cream in space is terrible. So, stock up on astronaut ice cream (the dehydrated stuff--it's much better)!

The galaxy is under attack!

By A High-Ranking EPF Official -- This just in! The EPF has intercepted a message from the Rebel Alliance. Imperial Forces are threatening the galaxy. The Rebel Alliance is calling for help.

Island residents worry Imperial Forces could destroy the entire universe at any time! Fear is on the increase as we learn the strange spot in the sky is definitely--the Death Star. Agents are working overtime at the Dock, preparing for the Millennium Falcon to land. We caught up with Gary, who was one of the first on the scene.

"According to my state-or-the-art, intergalactic Barometron 3000, there is a dramatic shift in atmospheric pressure," said Gary. "There is much cause for conern. Complete destruction of the univerise is 99.375% likely." The Millennium Falcon and the Rebel Alliance will land on July 25. The fast of the island rests with you.

More treasure hidden in Club Penguin

By PH -- Crikey! What started out as a coin-digging extravaganza is now a gargantuan surprise! It looks like members' puffles, are unexpectedly finding rare treasure!

Last week we messaged Rockhopper by cannon to see what he had to say. "ARRRR! I'd no idea treasure be hidin' beneath the island. But this be not surprisin' me," he said. "Last week I found a pink flamingo in me bird--who knows how long it had been there?!"

Absolutely ACE! Pet owners everywhere are stoked! I always knew there was more to the island than what's on the surface!

SCARE GAMES CONTINUE

Everyone's out to win!

By the Greek Council - As the Scare Games continue, monsters are falling head over horns for the win! A tangled mess of tentacles, teeth and talons are making for a tight race.

We caught up with competitors to hear what they had to say about the Scare Games. "Dude... these games are totally scaring me in a major way, man," said one ferocious JOX competitor. An OK member was found hiding under a floral cushion during a scare challenge.

"Oh... hi. I was just uh... practicing my hiding technique. Pretty good, huh?" There you have it! It looks like teams are scaring their way to first place. Be sure to get in your final howls and growls if you want to sink your teeth in that trophy starting July 6!

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Teams compete in the first ever Club Penguin Scare Games.

By the Greek Council - The first ever Scare Games in Club Penguin have commenced and monsters are choosing their team! We headed over to the center of the action - the amphitheater, off the Campus Quad!

Scarers are lining up to earn scare points and compete for first place. We interrupted a squad of large-horned monsters doing scare lunges, thumping-jacks, and roar-ups. "I'm so excited, I'm scaring myself!" One JOX exclaimed. "But can't talk right now. 5 more reps."

A bookish scareonomics student, watching the action explained the science behind the scare. "They're getting ready for the Scare Challenge. They need super light feet for the sneak, aerodynamic silence, and massive volume for the finish." Great to see so many monsters out for the games! It all seems to be running spectacularly smoothly.

The Scare Games end July 9, so give it your all, and keep your eye - or eyes - on the trophy!

Gather your team for the Scare Games!

By Aunt Arctic - Are you scary? Do you have a fierce attitude? Are you an all star? Do you like cake? Three fraternities and one sorority are on the look out for the scariest scarers!

These games are not for the faint of heart. Only serious scarers will compete for the win! There is going to be some stern competition soon, so rival teams will be recruiting the best of the best. So gather your friends to practice your brand of scare! I caught up with a group of students in the Quad who were studying their scare techniques.

"We've been practicing our zombie snarls and gusher howls for weeks!" one told me. "This campus event is gonna be HUGE, so just when you think you've got a big enough scare... make it BIGGER! It can never be loud enough, fierce enough, or epic enough!"

SCARE GAMES UPDATE!

Get growling! Scare practice is in full swing!

By Aunt Arctic - This just in-school spirit is taking over the island as students prep for the Scare Games! Excited students all over the island are cheering as they form into teams.

One excited student in a tweed jacket and pompoms at the Stadium shouted, "Can I get an S-C-A-R-E? Scare Games, yaaayyyy! Goooooo Team...!" Everyone on the island is roaring, rumbling, and howling to get ready for this growling good time. While campus construction is in full swing, scare-raising classes are happening in igloos everywhere.

I visited one igloo where the professor was leading a class on frightening faces! And another where students practiced their scare skills head to head! There's already some fierce competition. So get working on that growl. And create your own scare school with fur-raising items from the latest Furniture Catalog.

IN FOCUS TOUR OF THE FOREST AND COVE

Explore the great outdoors!

By a Aunt Arctic - Recently I decided to meet up with a Tour Guide to find out his favorite spots on the island. I was told to meet my guide in the Plaza, and to bring my sneakers. "Today's workout - uh, I mean, tour - is not for quitters! I'll set a steady pace, so keep up!" He said while running on the spot.

When we made it to the Forest my guide stopped to do a few stretches against a tree. "The Forest is a great place for exercising. You could bring your puffle here for a walk, work off some energy by having a snowball fight, or start a game of hide-and-go-week with a werewolf and a yeti!"

"OK, since we've run this far, let's keep going." puffed our guide and he sprinted off towards the Cove. "The Cove is a great place for swimmers. I'm training for my triathlon, and need to practice hard." After a few laps in the water, we roasted squid-kabobs by the campfire. It was a perfect end to a tiring tour!

By Aunt Arctic - Breaking news! The first ever Scare Games comes to the island this month! All penguins are invited to compete! What are the Scare Games you ask? The Club Penguin Times asked a source, or prefers to remain anonymous, for some preliminary details. Here's what we learned.

"The Greek Council's planning a MONSTROUS competition. There's gonna be super frightening, fur raising challenges for four rival teams." "Oooooh ya! We're building an epic place for it." "And I've seen a few items - they'll totally help scarers make the most of their ROARS! Be there or be scared!"

Stay tuned, we'll have more information as the games get closer. It all starts June 27! So get practicing your growls, roars, and ferocious faces!

By a Ninja - Fire, Water and Snow are back in balance! Brave ninjas are journeying through the stormy summit above the Dojo to master Snow. Many minions have been defeated, but the towering threat of Tusk still remains! "Students, you must continue your training," Sensei explained. "Time spent training today, will prepare you for what tomorrow brings." "We must always be ready. For there are always new challenges to face."

Citizens on the island are relieved they were able to weather the storm. Ninjas are encouraged to push forward on their elemental path at the Dojo.
